When should a holiday lighting company start SEO?+
August. The season's searches start in September, peak in November, and are gone by January. A page needs months to settle, so a page published in August is ready for the season and a page published in October is ready for the end of it.
Should I publish my prices?+
A starting price for a typical house is enough. The cost questions are 2,000 searches a month, Google answers two of them with an AI Overview, and the installer who states the number is the one it quotes. Right now Angi answers the Portland question.
Do I need a new website?+
Usually not. Most installer sites need speed, a price, a booking window, and photos with the neighborhood named. If the site cannot be fixed, I say so in the consultation and give you a fixed price for a rebuild.
What is GEO, and does it matter for a lighting company?+
Generative engine optimization: being the installer an AI names when someone asks it for one. It matters more in this trade than most, because there is no license board for the AI to check. Your own site is the whole answer.
Do you run Google Ads?+
No. The consultation shows what each click costs you today, and I will tell you when ads make sense, but I do not run them. The point of this work is to stop needing them.
Can you get me reviews?+
I build the system that asks every customer at the right moment, which in this trade is the install itself. The reviews come from your work. I do not buy, seed, or write them.
What about the off-season?+
Takedown and storage carry January, and the booking reminder carries August. The same companies do gutter cleaning, pressure washing, or permanent lighting the rest of the year, and each of those gets its own page on the same foundation.
How do you report?+
One page a month: rankings for the searches on this page, calls and forms by source and by week, reviews gained, and what I did. Plus the dashboards themselves, which you own.
What does it cost?+
The consultation is free, and it comes back with the scope and what I recommend. Local SEO is month to month, Growth and Superior include the website on a three-month minimum, there are no setup fees, and website builds are one-time. Every price is on the pricing page.
